After earning her BFA degree in Drama from the University
of Georgia, Ms. Porter embarked on a successful
twenty year acting and directing career.
Acting: credits include Nickel
and Dimed (Hippodrome Theatre), Wit(Alliance Theater),
for colored girls…(Jomandi and Portland’s
Center Stage), The Art of Dining(Horizon Theatre),
So Long on Lonely Street(Highland Theatre), El Hajj
Malik, Home(Harlem Jazz Theatre), and The Miracle
Worker(American Stage). Ms. Porter Has performed
for audiences from New England to Florida, from
Oregon to New York.
