Anger Management
Engaging activities help students discover positive ways to handle emotions and resolve conflicts.

Folk Tales and Folk Art
Visual artist Juana Harper joins Brenda Porter to teach this exciting workshop. Participants use theatre and story telling activities to explore one or more folk tales. Then, based on the folktales,
participants develop their own folk art. Additionally, students learn the historical implications of both folktales and folk art.

Teaching Teachers
With direction, teachers devise creative ways to enliven academic subjects through the incorporation of the arts. Teachers also explore and develop activities that encourage students’ involvement in the learning process.

“Pathways”
The students share stories and search their own pasts to discover their personal path-builders. They explore their own strengths and discern what makes them unique and identify personality traits which they possess that they can use to build paths for others to follow.Customized

Workshops
Workshops are designed to fit specific group needs. Topics can range from story telling to a dramatic rendering of a particular piece of literature, to diversity awareness or to any other special group need.

Residencies
All workshops are available in residencies, which are planned according to the needs of the group. They can range in length and can vary in final presentations.

Theatre has long proven to be a source of personal development for students of all ages.
The skills learned and developed using theatre arts can make a difference in how one operates in daily life.

Theatre works to improve memory, enhance imagination, encourage creativity, improve concentration and focus, and develop problem-solving skills. In addition, it can help build self-esteem, increase confidence, and develop ensemble-building skills.

Theatre also has been known to show improvements in students’ physical and vocal skills.
Pathways Productions offers a variety of workshops to expose students to theatre and help them master the skills of theatre.
